"For all the cute and petite she was, Lynn was a tomboy.  Sherry Brooks Williams and I went to visit Lynn shortly before she passed away and had a wonderful time that afternoon laughing about old times in grammer school.  One memory sticks out above all for me.  Lynn and I lived on the same street and often walked home together.  This afternoon one of our male classmates was walking with us and I  cannot remember what he did, but I do remember Lynn beat him up, threw him in the ditch and threw his books on top of him.  Lynn and I walked on home.

Dallas Petty always said when they did not have enough to play football they would go get Lynn.

Lynn's husband said that was the most she had laughed in a long time.  As good as that was for Lynn, it was a blessing for Sherry and me."

"Lynn Crawford was very smart, pretty and talented. She could sing, play the piano, and anything else she wanted to do. We were in piano recitals in grade school. David Tillman, Betsy Finley, Russell Smith, Nancy Evatt, Jennifer Starr, Lynn and I all took piano lessons. Lynn married Danny Gibson the first time. She had 2 children: Danya and John. She and her second husband Charlie Criminger were very happily married. They went to our church for awhile, sang in the choir, and worked with the youth group. Nancy Evatt and I went to see Lynn shortly before she died. We had a wonderful visit with her.  She died from cancer."
